BULK LMR®-600-UF Ultraflex (By the Foot or 500-ft Spool)

The Times Microwave LMR®-600-UF (UltraFlex) coax available at rigcables.com is a premium 50-ohm ultra-low-loss coaxial cable manufactured by Times Microwave Systems. This high-quality coax features a foam polyethylene dielectric, an aluminum tape outer conductor with tinned copper braid for superior shielding (>90 dB), and a durable, flexible black Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) jacket. It is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, with excellent UV/weather resistance and a wide operating temperature range. It is available for purchase by the foot for custom lengths or in full spools for larger projects, providing flexibility to match exact installation needs without excess waste.

Key Construction Differences
- Stranded bare copper center conductor (instead of solid) and a highly flexible TPE jacket.
- This design makes LMR-600-UF significantly more flexible and better suited for repeated flexing or tight routing compared to standard LMR-600.

Overall diameter remains approximately 0.590 inches (same as standard LMR-600), with a weight of about 0.165 lb/ft.

Compared to traditional RG-8U, RG-213, LMR-400, and even standard LMR-600, the LMR-600-UF provides significantly lower signal attenuation than LMR-400 (roughly 35-40% lower loss at many frequencies) while offering much greater flexibility than the standard LMR-600 version. It maintains the same excellent low-loss characteristics and high power handling of LMR-600 but with improved bendability for easier installation in confined spaces or applications involving movement.
