We start with genuine Times Microwave LMR-240 double-shielded ultra low loss coax, and our house brand of coax connectors. The center conductors are soldered, and the braid is attached with a hex crimp ring covered in adhesive heat shrink tubing. These cables are ideal for HF or VHF.

Many people have never heard of Times Microwave LMR®-240, but they've certainly heard of LMR®-400.  This LMR®-240 cable is the exact same size as RG-8X, only its better quality with double-shielding and a Polyethylene (PE) Jacket.  This cable is built to the same quality standards as LMR®-400.
